Dr. Ato Forson made this announcement following a productive meeting with EIB Vice-President Ambroise Fayolle. The European Commission will contribute a grant of €68 million, while Invest International, a Dutch government initiative, will add a further €30 million grant. The EIB will supply the remaining €225 million through its highly concessional facility. According to the Finance Minister, this project will help resolve recurring water shortages and enhance sanitation in the three communities.
