Koforidua Residents to Experience 17-Hour Water Supply Disruption – Ghana Water

Residents of Koforidua and nearby communities in the Eastern Region will experience a temporary interruption in their potable water supply on Wednesday, November 4, due to scheduled maintenance at the Bukunor Water Treatment Plant. Ghana Water Limited (GWL) has announced that the disruption will take place from 6:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m., during which maintenance activities will be conducted at the facility.

In a statement issued on Tuesday, November 3, the management of Ghana Water Limited in the Eastern Region explained that this maintenance is part of routine works aimed at ensuring the continued operation of the plant. The company has urged residents and affected customers to store enough water ahead of the scheduled interruption to minimise the impact on their households and daily activities.

Ghana Water Limited assured customers that water supply would resume after the maintenance works are completed. They apologised for any inconvenience the temporary disruption may cause and appealed to residents for their cooperation during this process.
