The Youth Employment Agency (YEA) has revealed plans to launch an EV Delivery Brigade, which seeks to generate over 10,000 jobs for young people in Ghana.
This initiative will roll out a standardised, regulated, and uniformed delivery service throughout all 16 regions, deploying more than 10,000 electric bikes to trained participants. To facilitate the program, EV battery charging and swapping stations will be set up nationwide, in addition to providing specialised training for youths in electric vehicle repairs, maintenance, and assembly.
