ECG Announces Five-Day Maintenance Exercise Across Six Regions

The Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) has scheduled both planned and emergency maintenance works in selected communities across six regions between October 26 and October 30, 2026, to enhance the reliability of electricity supply. The exercise will affect areas within Accra East, Accra West, Tema, Central, Volta, and Ashanti regions.

According to ECG’s maintenance timetable, the works will include network upgrades, repairs to underground cable systems, and other technical interventions designed to strengthen power distribution and improve service delivery.

The maintenance programme is part of ECG’s continuous efforts to address network faults, modernise infrastructure, and improve operational efficiency across its service areas. Residents and businesses in the affected communities are encouraged to monitor ECG’s official communication channels for details on specific locations, dates, and times of any power interruptions.
