Fifi Kwetey Hints at Further Reshuffles in Mahama’s Government

NDC General Secretary Fifi Fiavi Kwetey has suggested that President John Mahama may implement additional changes to his government to enhance efficiency. He noted that some changes have already occurred, including adjustments in board appointments, and indicated that more modifications could be forthcoming.

During an appearance on Good Morning Ghana on Metro TV on Tuesday, November 3, 2026, Mr. Kwetey refrained from confirming whether he had discussed a potential reshuffle with the President. “I wouldn’t disclose whether that conversation has happened or not,” he stated. However, he did express that Ghanaians should anticipate further shifts within the government. “Don’t be too surprised if you see a bit more of these changes to ensure greater efficiency in government,” he added.
