Juju Allegations and Personal Attacks Come With the Job – Korankye Ankrah

Founder and Apostle General of Royalhouse Chapel International, Sam Korankye Ankrah, has described allegations, personal attacks and name-calling against ministers as part of the “occupational hazards” that come with their calling. Speaking on Upside Down on Sunday, October 4, 2026, he advised ministers not to allow every accusation levelled against them to become a distraction, saying only allegations that genuinely require clarification should be addressed.

Korankye Ankrah cited claims that his influence and the crowds at his church were linked to occult practices as an example of accusations he would not dignify with a response. “If somebody says Apostle General’s power and the crowd regardless is by juju powers, it’s not genuine, it’s not of God,” he said.

He explained that responding to every allegation could divert ministers’ attention from their responsibilities and create unnecessary distractions. “You don’t respond to certain things because God will defend himself and defend his name. We have taken them as part of the occupational hazards. It’s part of it. If you want to be answering everybody, you’ll be distracted at the end of the day,” he cautioned.

Reflecting on his own experience, Korankye Ankrah said he has learned to remain focused on his calling despite the controversies and criticism surrounding his ministry. He maintained that, through the attacks and allegations, he believes God has continued to sustain and vindicate him.
