President John Dramani Mahama has visited former President John Agyekum Kufuor at his residence as part of a courtesy call aimed at checking on his well-being and discussing matters of national and global importance. Sharing details of the visit on Facebook, President Mahama said he took the opportunity to inquire about the former president’s health and welfare.
“I passed by the residence of President J.A. Kufuor this afternoon to check on him and find out how he’s doing and also discuss some national and international issues,” he wrote. Photographs shared alongside the post showed the two leaders smiling during the meeting.
The visit brought together the two former political rivals, both of whom have served as presidents of Ghana, for a meeting focused on personal well-being and matters of national and international concern.
